“In Her Shoes” is a new series created and produced by Dr Katherine Iscoe.
The interview-based, documentary-style series allows viewers to better understand the real struggles – and life lessons – behind some of Australia’s most accomplished women, by allowing us to shoe shop, and walk in, their heels.
The series explores the background work necessary to rise to the top, along with the many struggles along the way, inspiring viewers to forge ahead in their own path to success.
The highly anticipated third episode of In Her Shoes premiered on Saturday November 7th, and features one of Australia’s most well-respected leaders in business, academia and philanthropy, Dr Sandy Chong.
A Harvard Alumnus, president of the United Nations Association (WA), award-winning advisor, educator and active philanthropic contributor, Dr Chong shares her challenges growing up, including battling a constant feeling of loneliness as well as pressure to conform as an Asian female in a male-dominated culture in this emotional, vulnerable, and uplifting 50-minute interview.
